Niemand hat es beschlossen \u2014 es ist einfach passiert, und inzwischen sprecht ihr auch nicht mehr dar\u00fcber. Falls du dich hier wiedererkennst: Eine Beziehung ohne Sex kommt viel h\u00e4ufiger vor, als du denkst, und sie sagt f\u00fcr sich genommen nichts dar\u00fcber aus, wie sehr ihr euch liebt. Entscheidend ist, was das Schweigen darum herum anrichtet. Hier liest du, wann eine sexlose Beziehung ein Problem ist und wann nicht, wie du das Gespr\u00e4ch ohne Vorw\u00fcrfe beginnst \u2014 und was Denker von Ovid bis Esther Perel \u00fcber verschwindendes Verlangen wussten.<\/p>\n<h2>Ist eine Beziehung ohne Sex normal?<\/h2>\n<p>Ja \u2014 deutlich normaler, als die Au\u00dfenwelt vermuten l\u00e4sst. Das niederl\u00e4ndische Forschungsinstitut Rutgers stellte in seinem Monitor zur sexuellen Gesundheit fest, dass die meisten Menschen h\u00f6chstens dreimal im Monat Sex haben \u2014 das oft zitierte &#8222;zweimal pro Woche&#8220; erreichen die wenigsten. Hinter verschlossenen T\u00fcren sieht es also ganz anders aus, als Gespr\u00e4che im Freundeskreis vermuten lassen. Phasen mit wenig oder gar keinem Sex geh\u00f6ren zu fast jeder langen Beziehung: nach der Geburt von Kindern, in Zeiten von Stress oder Krankheit, oder einfach, weil das Leben dazwischengekommen ist.<\/p>\n<h2>Wann ist es ein Problem \u2014 und wann nicht?<\/h2>\n<p>Nicht die H\u00e4ufigkeit ist das Problem, sondern der Unterschied im Bed\u00fcrfnis. Wollt ihr beide wenig oder keinen Sex, und vermisst ihn keiner von euch? Dann ist nichts kaputt \u2014 es gibt dauerhafte, liebevolle Beziehungen, die weitgehend oder ganz ohne Sex auskommen. Anders wird es, wenn einer von beiden sich danach sehnt und der andere nicht, oder wenn die Sexlosigkeit ein Symptom schleichend gewachsener Distanz ist. Das ehrlichste Signal bist du selbst: Sp\u00fcrst du Trauer, Zur\u00fcckweisung oder Unruhe, wenn du daran denkst? Dann verdient das Thema Aufmerksamkeit \u2014 nicht weil Sex Pflicht w\u00e4re, sondern weil dein Vermissen echt ist.<\/p>\n<h2>Warum der Sex verschwindet, ohne dass es jemand beschlie\u00dft<\/h2>\n<p>Zw\u00f6lf Jahre zusammen, zwei Kinder, ein Haus. Irgendwann vor vier Jahren h\u00f6rte der Sex auf \u2014 nicht nach einem Streit, nicht nach einer Entscheidung. Es ist einfach passiert, und danach wurde es immer schwerer, davon anzufangen. Denn wer davon anf\u00e4ngt, gibt zu, dass es da ist. So l\u00e4uft es fast immer: Sex verschwindet selten mit einem Knall, er verdunstet. Und das Schweigen danach richtet oft mehr Schaden an als das Vermissen selbst, weil beide Partner im eigenen Kopf Schl\u00fcsse ziehen \u2014 &#8222;er will mich nicht mehr&#8220;, &#8222;es liegt bestimmt an mir&#8220; \u2014, die selten stimmen, aber nie \u00fcberpr\u00fcft werden.<\/p>\n<h2>Das Gespr\u00e4ch beginnen \u2014 ohne Vorw\u00fcrfe<\/h2>\n<p>Drei Anf\u00e4nge, die funktionieren, weil sie von dir handeln und nicht vom anderen: &#8222;Ich vermisse uns \u2014 nicht nur den Sex, sondern wie nah wir uns waren.&#8220; Oder: &#8222;Ich merke, dass ich mich immer wieder nicht traue, davon anzufangen \u2014 und das sagt vielleicht mehr als das Thema selbst.&#8220; Oder: &#8222;Ich will nichts von dir fordern. Ich will nur wissen, wie es f\u00fcr dich ist.&#8220; Was nicht funktioniert: mit Zahlen anfangen, im Bett anfangen, oder nach einem Glas zu viel anfangen.
